AbstractThe SpliceAI deep learning system is currently one of the most accurate methods for identifying splicing signals directly from DNA sequences. However, its utility is limited by its reliance on older software frameworks and human-centric training data. Here we introduce OpenSpliceAI, a trainable, open-source version of SpliceAI implemented in PyTorch to address these challenges.

Methods and analysisThis study is designed as a single-centre, single-blind, randomised parallel controlled trial, aiming to evaluate the efficacy of a modified LLTB and compare its effect with the traditional TB in children with hyperdivergent mandibular retrognathia. The study is registered at http://www.chictr.org.cn/index.aspx, which can be accessed online. The trial will be performed in the Department of Orthodontics at Shanghai Stomatological Hospital.
