The Sudanese army has recaptured the presidential palace in the capital Khartoum, marking a possible turning point in the two-year war that has devastated much of the country and displaced millions from their homes. Videos on social media showed jubilant government soldiers pouring into the palace entrance on Friday, weapons held triumphantly aloft, after days of fighting to seize it from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
