A Watford Observer photographer visited the town’s premier nightspot a handful times in November 1985, either side of its official opening as Paradise Lost.

Peter’s grandfather was David Greenhill, the managing director of the Sun Engraving Company, and he enjoyed an “exceptional partnership” with the firm’s chairman Edward Hunter.
