    The Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) has suspended the licence of Dr Neena Mathrani, a city-based radiologist, for a period of five years for violation of the rules that guide the Pre-Conception and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (PC-PNDT) Act. The action comes six years after the doctor was convicted in the case by a magistrate. MMC administrator Dr Vinky Rughwani told The Indian Express that they recently passed an order for the suspension of Dr Mathrani’s licence.
