The Indian Express

The Indian Express is a daily newspaper in English, based in India. It is published in Mumbai by the Indian Express Group. Following the death of the group's founder, Ramnath Goenka, in 1991, the organization was divided among family members in 1999. The southern editions were rebranded as The New Indian Express, while the northern editions continued to be called Indian Express, with "The" added at the beginning of the name.
