Lip Critic announce their signing to Partisan Records (Fontaines D.C., Blondshell), and share new track “It’s The Magic”. To celebrate the news, the New York City electronic punk band will also be heading to the UK for a run of headline shows this November. The new single is a mission statement with its dislocating collision of raw-nerved punk and drum and bass tempos that warrants not one, but two drummers, to execute.

Partisan Records has announced a 10th anniversary reissue of the late DJ Rashad’s widely celebrated 2013 debut album, Double Cup, out December 8th. This edition will feature new artwork by illustrator, photographer, and longtime friend of Rashad, Ashes57, and a limited edition gold vinyl pressing. In conjunction with today’s announcement, Partisan has unveiled “Last Winter,” a digital exclusive track originally only available on out-of-print CD versions of Double Cup.

Maple Glider has shared “Do You,” a track of her album I Get Into Trouble – this Friday Oct 13 via Partisan/Pieater. Ahead of the release, she has shared album opener “Do You” with an accompanying music video. At the time of writing “Do You,” Maple was in a new city, bonding joyously with a new friend, and being included in their family circle.

As on 3D Country, Geese sound like they are having fun on their new EP. Moreover, they sound relaxed, too. They temper the scattershot energy that suffused 3D Country, though without ever dampening their adventurous, vivacious spirit. Singer Cameron Winter continues to yo-yo his voice up and down and adopt gruff, gravelly tones, but he leans more into supple, dulcet ones, frequently dropping his vocals to the valley of his range. It's not just his voice that's slick.

Aoife Nessa Frances has shared “Fantasy.” The new single was written as the Irish singer/songwriter was learning to read Tarot cards and took particular inspiration from the High Priestess card. Originally recorded during the sessions for her album Protector, the track floats effortlessly, conveying a serenity like early morning, anchored by Frances’ deep voice and flourishes of harp.
