    The National have released the official video for “Laugh Track” feat. Phoebe Bridgers, the title track off their surprise new album. The video was directed and animated by Bernard Derriman, director of The Bob’s Burgers Movie, with 3D animation by Adam Phillips. The wry, simmering track was born of a drum idea from Justin Vernon (“the tempo felt like something off Dylan’s Nashville Skyline,” says the band’s Aaron Dessner) and what feels like a classic Matt Berninger-ian lyrical turn.

    MGMT have announced their new album, Loss Of Life. The duo of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser worked on the 10-track Loss Of Life with producer Patrick Wimberly (Beyoncé, Lil Yachty) and longtime collaborator Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Spoon), who mixed the album as he has done on the group’s past four full-lengths.

    Lip Critic announce their signing to Partisan Records (Fontaines D.C., Blondshell), and share new track “It’s The Magic”. To celebrate the news, the New York City electronic punk band will also be heading to the UK for a run of headline shows this November.
