Dover, Del. – Police have arrested a suspect, identified as 24-year-old Aaron Grimes, in connection to a shots-fired incident on Friday. According to police, around 9:30 p.m., they were called to Liberty Court Apartments for shots fired. When officers arrived, they found shell casings around the apartment building. They also learned multiple cars and an apartment had been shot at.

WMDT – Juneteenth, a holiday celebrating the end of slavery, is tomorrow. If you are looking for a way to commemorate the holiday this weekend, the Sturgis One Room School Museum in Pocomoke has you covered!For two days, you can enjoy live entertainment, food, and a free tour of the museum. On June 20th, there will be an open might night for music artists and poets. On June 21st, there will be door prizes, a bounce house, and a variety of vendors.

WMDT – Richard Pollitt is the new Director of Development for Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and he stopped by Good Morning Delmarva to discuss the direction he’s taking the organization. The non-profit celebrated their 30th anniversary and are looking forward to their 200th home dedication on June 25th in Rehoboth. We’re told there’s a housing crisis, and many are spending too much with the cost of living, so the organization is striving to provide access to affordable and safe housing.
