CRIME30-year-old Anthony John Dirosa of Mooresville was arrested by Catawba County Sheriffs Officers Thursday (April 24) on felony counts of first-degree burglary, injury to personal property, breaking and entering with intent to terrorize or injure, communicating threats, and forcible trespass. Dirosa was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility where he was being held under $11,000 bond. At last report, he remained in jail with an appearance in District Court set for April 25.

The City of Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Department will host the inaugural Aviation 5K on Saturday, May 24, at 8 a.m. at Winkler Park.
