The Parkwest 580 Casino on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Livermore, Calif. A casino expansion unanimously approved by the city council will raise the betting limit from $200 to $1,000 and will allow an additional six tables at the cardroom, totaling 16. The city will now collect $4,800 in fees per table per month, compared to the previous $1,890 — an additional $57,900 a month, or about $695,000 a year, quadrupling Livermore’s profits.
