Five years ago, COVID-19 changed the world we live in. In order to limit the transmission of the disease, people around the globe formed tight circles to regularly interact with. Naturally, these bubbles were largely made up of people who think similarly, with similar life experiences. Compounding this, remote work limited interactions of different perspectives. And maybe the most damaging, personal algorithms became stronger and more targeted to deliver news that confirms our own personal bias.
