Kansas State football fans had better free up their evenings for the Wildcats' upcoming nonconference schedule. After opening their season with an 11 a.m. (CT) Big 12 week zero matchup against Iowa State on Aug. 23 in Dublin, Ireland, the Wildcats will play all three of their non-league games under the lights. The Big 12 and its television partners announced their selections and kickoff times for the first three regular weeks of the 2025 season on Thursday, and K-State's games are all at night.

Kansas State basketball coach Jerome Tang landed Memphis guard PJ Haggerty, the American Conference player of the year, from the transfer portal. Haggerty, a 6-foot-3 guard, averaged 21.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists last season. Haggerty is the fifth incoming Division I transfer for K-State, joining guards Abdi Bashir and Nate Johnson, and forwards Marcus Johnson and Khamari McGriff. Kansas State basketball coach Jerome Tang has once again made a late offseason recruiting splash.

After breaking an 11-year postseason drought and advancing to the Super Regionals for just the second time in program history last year, the Wildcats (31-24) claimed their second straight NCAA bid on Monday as the No. 3 seed in the Austin Regional. Texas is ranked No. 2 overall.
