    We estimate Google’s overall cloud business till hit $64B in 2025, with more than 50% of that revenue coming from Google Cloud Platform (GCP). GCP is growing at a rate faster than AWS and Azure and is finally throwing off an operating profit of around 16% of revenue. This compares to AWS’s operating profit in the mid-to-high 30’s and we believe Azure’s operating profit is comparable to that of AWS.

    Automation generally and AI specifically, render today’s cybersecurity stacks ineffective. Previously, stopping 99% of attacks and leaving the 1% for armed human hunters to deal with was, while not ideal, at least feasible. With AI, that all goes away because adversaries can scale phishing and other attacks at unprecedented rates, which overwhelms the ability of humans.

    In his GTC keynote, Jensen spoke broadly about AI in the context of three vectors:AI in the cloud;AI in data centers (on-prem);AI for robotics (edge). What these three pillars have in common is data lives in each. Data has gravity and is expensive to move. Speed of light dynamics mean that the most efficient way to process information is to bring compute to the data. In essence, the three opportunities Jensen described can be thought of in terms data locality.
