    DARIEN, Wis. (WLUK) -- A woman’s late-night Taco Bell craving led to a crash with a sheriff’s squad car in southern Wisconsin. Just after 11 p.m. on Tuesday, a Walworth County Sheriff’s Office squad car was rear-ended by a vehicle while traveling north on I-43 near Highway X in the town of Darien. They deputy said he was driving north when he saw a vehicle driving behind him, approaching at a high rate of speed.

    LEROY (WLUK) -- Foggy conditions played a role in a fatal Dodge County crash where a 19-year-old Waupun man died. It happened around 6:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of State Highway 49 at Dairy Road in the town of Leroy, about 2.5 miles west of the village of Brownsville. Initial investigation showed that a semi pulling a tanker trailer was traveling north on Dairy Road and crossing State Highway 49 after stopping at the stop sign.

    (WLUK) -- Wisconsin Public Service is fetching for the next safe digging ‘ambassadog.'After a successful inaugural campaign, WPS is giving customers the chance to have their dog send the safety message: Call 811 at least three days before you dig. WPS is accepting applications for its top dog now through July 10. Take a couple of photos of your dog digging or in their favorite place to dig. Go to wisconsinpublicservice.com to submit the photos before 11:59 p.m. July 10.
