APPLETON (WLUK) -- It's been six years since Appleton issued its last ticket for truancy. That wait will last a bit longer. The city voted to delay any enforcement of fines for truancy in the school district, despite rising absences in the student body. The district is the largest in the state without truancy tickets.

OSHKOSH (WLUK) - It's almost NCAA Tournament time for division three softball and baseball and for the first time since 2018, it includes both UW-Oshkosh programs. Titans baseball made it every year throughout the 80's and 90's, but this marks just their 2nd appearance since 2008. While for UWO softball this makes it 6 of the last 8 and last year at the World Series finishing 5th place. Asked if it's safe to call you them a powerhouse at this point?

APPLETON (WLUK) -- Finding a suitor for a 43-acre college campus is no small task, especially when multiple counties own the site. The counties can now look for a new use for the campus, vacated as UW-Oshkosh at Fox Cities closes its doors after 77 years of serving the Fox Valley. Outagamie County's 36-person board approved a resolution, the final step in the county agreements.
