    Casual restaurant Liberty Social Bar & Kitchen opened its doors late last month with an easy-going vibe and wide-ranging menu. Located at 240 N. Liberty St., formerly Gallup’s Bar & Kitchen, Liberty Social opened its doors on April 26. The restaurant has a full bar with lunch and dinner throughout the week and brunch on the weekends. The space is two levels and can seat up to 240 people. The upper level features a full bar and will be available for parties.

    A new Fox in the Snow location is slated to open in Westerville later this year. Fox in the Snow Cafe announced on its social media this week that a Westerville location at 79 S. State St. is expected to open in late summer or early fall. Founded by Lauren Culley and Jeff Excell in 2014, this marks Fox in the Snow’s fifth location.     A North Carolina-based coffee shop has opened its first Ohio location in Upper Arlington’s Kingsdale Center. Bitty & Beau’s Coffee celebrated its grand opening ceremony over the weekend in Upper Arlington at 3110 Kingsdale Center. The coffee shop, established in 2016 by Ben and Amy Wright, employs individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. “We’ve said it from the start — it’s more than just a cup of coffee,” Amy said in a statement.

Blackened Coffee Co. opened April 20 on the back patio of the music venue and bar, Ace of Cups, located at 2619 N. High St. Founded by friends TJ Matisko, Aaron Best and Blaise Bonsignore, Blackened Coffee serves drinks as well as plant-based breakfast sandwiches.
