YOU TAKE CARE of your body: You lift heavy, get your cardio in, eat clean(ish), maybe even track your macros. But are you giving the same level of care to your skin health? It’s not enough to wash your face, slap on some aftershave, and call it skincare—especially if you’re guilty of certain daily habits that could be doing damage over time. Some seemingly harmless choices can add up to dryness, breakouts, irritation, premature aging, and even an increased risk for skin cancer.

You can run 26.2 miles in just about every way imaginable, from blistering fast to slow and steady with a few walk breaks along the way. No matter your pace, your body is working hard, and covering that kind of distance is a massive feat in and of itself. You’re not in contention for the podium. You’re not getting paid to race. You’re probably not toeing the start line just behind the elites in corral A. But that doesn’t mean you don’t want every edge you can get on race day—including shoes that make your legs and feet feel as good as possible for as long as possible.
