    Cheyenne, Wyo. - As we head through our Monday, the stormy pattern continues with severe thunderstorms possible later on Today. The latest update from the Storm Prediction Center has added an enhanced risk (level 3 of 5) for severe storms across portions of the Nebraska Panhandle. We still have the potential for storms in Wyoming, where a slight risk exists (level 2 of 5).

    Albany County, Wyo. - The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has confirmed that an EF-U tornado touched down on Wednesday, June 11th in Albany County.  The tornado was designated with a EF-U (or EF-Unknown) because no damaged occurred. No winds could be determined as well. The tornado did touch down in a ranch 9.5 miles to the northwest of Garrett, WY. This is the first tornado to touchdown in Wyoming for 2025.

    Cheyenne, Wyo. - While we had some improving conditions for this weekend, we will continue to see similar conditions for the work week. Overall not expecting much in our weather today as a strong area of high pressure influences our weather. We are looking at plenty of sunshine and very little cloud cover. High temperatures today are expected to heat up. Temperatures will range from the middle 70s to the middle 80s throughout the area.

    Scottsbluff, NE - One person is dead in Scottsbluff after an accident between a pedestrian and a train. At approximately 12:13 AM early this morning, Scottsbluff police were dispatched to the area of 2nd Avenue and the Railway after a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a train. One male was pronounced dead at the scene. No description of the male has been released at this time. Scottsbluff Police are working on identifying the victim.
