Recently, the City of Toronto announced that, following the success of its 2024 pilot project, it will once again unleash a specialized “eco-herd” of goats at Don Valley Brick Works Park to chow down on woody and invasive plant species.

Recently, GreekTown on the Danforth BIA announced that it—along with many loyal customers—is preparing to say goodbye to Corso Shoes, a store that’s been serving customers out of its Danforth and Arundel Ave. store for three decades.

Toronto History New Openings Published May 15, 2025 at 3:25 pm Part of a popular (and historic) attraction in Toronto has officially reopened to the public after three years of construction. Earlier this week, the Palm House at Allan Gardens Conservatory officially opened its doors after an extensive restoration project. According to the City of Toronto’s website, the Palm House–the central heritage feature on the oft-visited site on Gerrard Street East–initially opened in 1910.
