Investigators say residents can expect a “significant” police presence in an Ajax after reports of gunshots and finding shell casings, Durham Regional Police say. Police gunshots were was reported on Friday in the area of Church Street North and Taunton Road West in Ajax. No victims have been located but police say “multiple shell casings” were found at the scene.

Police are urging members of the public not to approach a pair of “dangerous illegal migrants” who were last seen near Niagara Falls, police say. On Friday, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said Yenny Justo, 41, and Alexander Cardenas, 51, were last seen in the Fort Erie area, approximately 30 kilometres south of Niagara Falls near the Peace Bridge U.S.-Canada border crossing.

Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was threatened after being approached by a man who ‘solicited her for a sexual act’ in Ontario, investigators say. The “unsettling incident” happened on Wednesday on a trail in Collingwood, the OPP says officers with the Collingwood and Blue Mountains detachment says. That’s when a young woman was approached by a man with a bicycle “who solicited her for a sexual act,” police say.
