    A modern, boutique-style condo unit has sold for a huge loss in Hamilton. The condo is the latest to sell at a loss as this sector of the real estate market struggles. The average condo apartment price was down 6.4 per cent to $683,413 last month in the Greater Toronto Area, according to the May TRREB report. Condo sales also declined 25.1 per cent year-over-year. A Toronto condo sold for a $143,000 loss in June. Hamilton is seeing a similar downturn.

    A collision has shut lanes on Highway 403 in Mississauga. Reports indicate a pedestrian was hit on the busy highway Wednesday morning. All westbound lanes at Mavis Road were closed for a police investigation around 7:30 a.m., OPP said on X. Both OPP and Peel Regional Police were on scene.
