I used to latch onto my brother’s shirt to see if I could keep up with him while he ran at full speed ahead. To no one’s surprise, my 12-year-old legs could not match his 17-year-old ones, and I fell face first into the concrete. At the time, I never felt a stronger pain than my face being all scratched up and bruised. But, 10 years later, I find myself in a much greater pain: growing up. My relationship with Berkeley has been rocky since the beginning.
