On3 first reported Endries' intent to transfer on Sunday. Over two seasons, Endries collected 91 receptions for 1,030 yards and four touchdowns. The redshirt junior’s exit leaves a gaping hole in the Bears offense that has relied heavily on him for much of its production in recent campaigns.

Cal softball recently announced it will break ground on a massive field renovation project soon after its home regular-season finale April 27. The Bears expect the project to be completed after 16-18 months, ahead of the 2027 season. Cal Athletics told the Daily Californian it is yet to be determined where the Bears will play the 2026 season. “This move is monumental for our program,” Cal head coach Chelsea Spencer said in a Cal Athletics press release.

Cal star running back and fan favorite Jaydn Ott will reportedly enter the transfer portal once it opens April 16, CBS Sports, ESPN and On3 reported Monday evening. “Nothing but the best for you, fam,” Bears star linebacker Cade Uluave said on X, quoting a post about Ott’s decision. Ott, a Southern California product, collected 3,333 scrimmage yards and 30 touchdowns over his freshman through junior seasons for the Bears. He’s Cal’s 10th all-time leading rusher.
