TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vigo County History Center announced the opening of a new exhibit featuring the history of local aviation. “Flight Over Vigo Skies” is a flight simulation over Terre Haute. The simulation will offer different sites to see like Country Club of Terre Haute, the Action Track, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, and so much more. The exhibit also has memorabilia of the airport on display. Executive Director of the History Center Marla Flowers said it’s a great experience.

Over 30 educators were recognized as a result of nominations from students, parents, teachers, principals and other associates of the Vigo County School community. An educator from the Covered Bridge Special Education District, a retired teacher, and an administrator also be received awards.
