“A Minecraft Movie” is undoubtedly the silliest bunch of nonsense ever to be committed to film (or hard drive). This is not even an insult; indeed, I believe it was a goal achieved. I’m not even mad at it, as the kids say. This movie was not made for me, but I could detect there was some kind of intention, however inexplicable, that was successfully carried out. It worked on a level I am not privy to, but I could still tell it worked. It was bonkers, and the audience went crazy for it.
