Conan Gray’s third album, “Found Heaven”, was released on April 5. Gray released six singles from the album before the release date including “Never Ending Song”, “Winner”, “Killing me”, “Lonely Dancers” and “Alley Rose”. These singles gave fans the opportunity to discover that this album resembles that of an ’80s pop-rock album, making it refreshing to listen to and different from anything else on my current playlists.

Caitlyn Mount, Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) president and senior, said they are getting ready to pass on their role to Max Dorsch, GSA vice president and junior. “I hope my (current) vice president (Dorsch) can really make the club his own,” Mount said. “I hope that he’s able to get that satisfaction I did from leading meetings and coming up with experiences for the club to have.”Dorsch said although he wants to add more to the club, he does not want to make major changes.

On March 13, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill seeking to force the Chinese company that owns TikTok, ByteDance, to let go of the popular app due to security concerns with foreign-owned apps. According to the bill, if the Senate passes it and if ByteDance does not give up ownership of the app within six months, the government will ban TikTok in the United States.

What event do you participate in for DECA competitions? This year I did a paper, specifically Integrated Marketing Campaign. Why did you choose your event? I’m in IB Business and for IB Business you have to write a paper for the class, so I decided to compete with it. I chose Integrated Marketing Campaign because most other papers are 20 pages. This one is only 10, but it has a 100-question quiz, but that’s still more manageable than 20 pages. Could you explain what you do during competitions?

Since her release from prison on Dec. 28, 2023, the media has been blowing up with the press revolving around Gypsy-Rose Blanchard. Blanchard was a victim of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy, in which her mother persuaded her and everyone they came in contact with that Blanchard was terminally ill when she was, in fact, healthy. Blanchard’s mother had doctors convinced she had a wide variety of illnesses varying from sleep apnea to leukemia to muscular dystrophy and more.
