Ninety-three District 3 voters have given another notice to Councilmember Andrew Whitman that they are proponents of a recall effort seeking his removal from office. This Notice of Intention to Circulate the Recall Petition was served on Whitman on Oct. 2 and is being published in this week’s edition of the Ojai Valley News.

The nightmare, commonly known as our City Council meeting on July 11, proved beyond any shadow of doubt that the majority rule of Betsy Stix, Andrew Whitman, and Rachel Lang cemented their chokehold on public policy, and guarantees that any building of affordable housing will be shunted aside and lost in a bureaucratic process until they are voted out.
