This is expected to be the largest single-day mobilisation since Trump took office in January. After being sworn in as President on January 20 this year, Donald Trump signed hundreds of executive orders, several of which targeted LGBTQ+ rights, especially those of trans and non-binary people.

    Community 3 April, 2025. Ten years after the Marriage Equality referendum, LGBTQ+ parents and their children still don’t have equal legal protections. Activists from LGBTQ+ advocacy groups Equality for Children, Irish Gay Dads and LGBT Ireland have launched a petition calling on the Irish government to take action to implement full marriage equality. On May 22 this year, the LGBTQ+ community will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Marriage Equality.
