BREAKING: Police source tells me that Hassan Ali, the Toronto rapper known as “Top5”, has been arrested again on firearm charges. Top5 was cleared of murder charge last year after being accused in 2021 homicide. Ali previously denied that he was a gang member.

I’ve just learned the person injured and taken to hospital in Monday night’s horrific wrong-way crash on Hwy 401 was also inside the U-haul that was fleeing from @DRPS. A 60-year-old man, 55-year-old woman, and the couple’s baby grandchild were killed in the crash.

Paramedics tell me they transported a 9-year-old boy to hospital with serious leg injuries after he was bitten by an off-leash dog. Police describe his injuries as life altering. The playground where @TorontoPolice say the attack happened has clear “no dogs allowed” signs posted.

Police sources tell me that the man who was struck by an object on Boustead Ave this morning has died from his injuries. Early information from the scene is that this is believed to be a random incident that has now turned into Toronto’s latest homicide investigation.
