The shooting in Rexdale over the weekend that left a man dead and four others injured may have been random and a vehicle of interest has been seized, a police source tells CP24. The source who has direct knowledge of the homicide investigation said the group of men shot at Sunday night outside a school near Mount Olive Drive and Kipling Avenue may have not been targeted, and they could have just been at the wrong place at the wrong time.

As for who is in or out of cabinet, Premier said something we heard a lot during election speculation last year: “stay tuned”, telling me he’s putting “the best of the best on the ice” - but confirms NO new portfolio dealing exclusively with Trump’s tariffs.

NEW: @BeatriceVaisman had an exclusive quick chat with the Premier who confirmed his cabinet will stay at 36 ministers, no specific person on tariffs sounds like

NEW: As part of Toronto’s procurement pivot in light of @DonaldTrump tariffs, I’ve learned the City and our fire service will be buying made-in-Canada pumper trucks from now on. I’m told 17 new pumper trucks were included in the city budget. Canadian companies will get first dibs https://t.co/xqvU6Vk3L0
