Late Tuesday afternoon, the planes began to arrive at the Peterborough airport. Seven flights within about three hours. In a town where the only grocery store burned to the ground and was never rebuilt, and where fire claimed one of its two convenient stores this past year, Coventry Relief Kitchen volunteer Shannon Lawrence says people have come to rely on the local soup kitchen for sustenance. Now its days appear numbered as well. Coventry has been providing hot meals for the community of Colborne and surrounding area every Wednesday and Thursday for almost two years now.
