The number of workplace injuries overall continues to decline, although the costs associated with them are climbing, according to a study from workers compensation insurance firm The Travelers Companies, Inc. In its “2025 Injury Impact Report,” the company compared workers compensation data from the five years leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic with the next five years, analyzing more than 2.6 million claims submitted during that time.
