Another streaming show, another remake, this time The Four Seasons, an eight-part Netflix serialisation of the much loved 1981 Alan Alda film. But the good news is that this is a sprightly, witty and thoughtful refashioning of its story of a middle-aged friendship group navigating four holidays and the stresses that arise from the familiarity (and overfamiliarity) of each other and their partners. Yes, I did say middle-aged.

This redoubtable programme has been going for many years for good reason. Often the dynastic revelations - such as the time we found out that a relative of Ian McKellen invented the weekend, or that Danny Dyer was a direct descendant of King Edward III - can take your breath away. Sometimes it can feel as if you are trapped on the sofa at your in-laws' leafing through a family photo album vainly summoning enthusiasm. Mishal Husain's edition of Who Do You Think You Are?
