Change has been taking place behind the scenes at Red Bull Racing throughout the last 12 months, and not always for the better. Max Verstappen has seen three different drivers occupy the Red Bull garage next door over the past six months. Sergio Perez and Liam Lawson were let go and now it’s up to Yuki Tsunoda to try and help Red Bull make a bid to regain the constructors’ championship.

Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen wasn’t in the best mood when he jumped out of the car after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. David Coulthard was conducting the post-race interviews immediately after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, but Max Verstappen wasn’t in a talking mood. Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen stole the headlines after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after their opening corner clash, but it was Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc who deserved the most credit. Out of all of the rookies on the grid in Formula 1 this season, Sauber driver Gabriel Bortoleto is the racer who has been further out of the spotlight. Gabriel Bortoleto is one of four drivers who is still yet to score a point in 2025. Sauber were the slowest team in the paddock last season, but new driver Nico Hulkenberg helped them beat their points tally from 2024 during the opening race of the season in Australia.

Formula 1 has changed an awful lot since Bernie Ecclestone made his only attempts to compete in the sport back in 1958. There were only 11 Grand Prix that year, although Ferrari were still the most iconic team on the grid, and they won the drivers’ championship thanks to British driver Mike Hawthorn. Bruce McLaren was still competing before setting up his F1 team, while Red Bull wasn’t launched a drink, let alone a racing organisation, for another 30 years.
