    A teenager has been charged in connection with a suspected hit-and-run crash in Wolverhampton in which a carer was seriously injured. Freya Theobold, 19, was visiting patients on 30 September when she was struck by a stolen car on Stafford Road in Oxley. She suffered multiple spinal fractures, a broken leg, and needed bowel reconstruction surgery. On Monday, West Midlands Police said Layton Clenton, 18, from Wolverhampton, had been charged in connection with the incident.
