The charming village of Dresser, Wisconsin, is located atop the ancient basalt gorge of the Dalles area of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Home to fewer than 1,000 people, the historic community sees plenty of visitors each year who come to take advantage of the river, the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, and the area's incredible fall foliage. Today, we're going to take a virtual visit to the southern stretches of the state to explore an Airbnb in Wisconsin Dells, a community rich in entertainment and outdoorsy fun, alike.

A few years ago, I was driving back home to Minnesota from a camping trip on Michigan's Upper Peninsula and got on U.S. Route 8, which would take me through some of the prettiest parts of Wisconsin, including the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and all its incredible trails.
