If there's one thing I've learned about Wisconsin, it's how lovely the local landscape is for a getaway. Here in the Badger State, geomorphic remnants from the last ice age coexist alongside wetlands, prairies, and forests, all nestled against two beautiful Great Lakes shorelines. Today, we're going to take a virtual visit to the southern stretches of the state to explore an Airbnb in Wisconsin Dells, a community rich in entertainment and outdoorsy fun, alike.

Winter is my favorite season. As someone who lives in New Orleans, my winter wardrobe would be laughed at by a Yankee. Well, at least it was laughable. Since I don’t live in an area where it snows, I tend to spend my winters traveling around the Arctic. Obviously, I needed to step up my winter wardrobe if I wanted to actually enjoy my Arctic adventures. I’ve tested a lot of winter gear over the years, and I’m ready to share the best winter gear I always bring with me on my travels.

Few things are better than time spent on an Alabama lake, sharing a toast over otherworldly magenta and gold sunsets with people you love. One of my favorite memories was from just a few years ago, catching up with longtime friends who live on Smith Lake near Jasper, Alabama.
