    Gunmen have killed seven Muslim worshippers and injured three others in two separate attacks on mosques in Kaduna state, police said Saturday. Before 1959 or so, one would describe the location of the original city cemetery as behind the First Baptist Church. The downtown church was razed when the new church building was built on East Three Notch Street. Today we would probably say that the cemetery is north of Court Square with the main entrance being off Opp Avenue.

    There are concerns that the dog’s body was placed back in the shallow water near to where she went missing and the Metropolitan Police are now investigating the incident. Sapphire or “Saffi” vanished on Sunday, August 20, 2023, whilst on a walk with her family in Footscray Meadows, Sidcup, and despite their efforts to find the dog she appeared to be gone without a trace.
