The Asian University Basketball League is set to receive a major cash infusion. The league comprised of college basketball programs from schools across China, Japan and South Korea is slated to announce a seed round investment led by Blue Pool Capital, SBJ has learned. Exact financial details were not disclosed, but a source told SBJ it’s worth “well into the millions.”The influx of capital is a major stepping stone for a league that has its share of significant backers.
