Overview:Hachisuka tries manipulating Stendhal into fighting targets of her choosing, but can anyone control him? Our Take:Koichi embodies a lot of the same things that Deku does but instead of having no quirk he just so happens to have a quirk that isn’t super useful. But one thing I love about this show is how (other than Deku) there aren’t “power-ups” people learn to use the quirk in unique ways. Not everyone has a quirk conducive to being a hero but they make it work.

Overview:Yang Cheng gains public trust after footage of him saving Pomelo makes its way around social media. Our Take(Spoilers):This might end up being one of the best shows I’ve ever watched when all is said and done. It feels like no character is safe because someone is seemingly killed every other episode. I didn’t want Yang Cheng to get cucked but I also didn’t want Shang Chao to get murdered.

Overview:Sebastian starts serving Sullivan as her butler. Meanwhile, Ciel seems to have become a different person. Our Take:I’m gonna start calling Sieglinde, Sullivan because that’s a lot easier to type out. We also learned a fair bit about Finnian that I wasn’t aware of. To be fair last season was the first time I had ever watched Black Butler but now that I’m starting to get this intrigued I want to go back and watch the rest.

Overview:Gaff declares himself the new king, but a divine command sets an unexpected ordeal in his path. Our Take:Look… I’m sorry, I might not have been the right person to review this show. I have zero clue what’s going on. Every time I feel like I’m starting to piece it together I get shown something else that let’s me know how wrong I am. I was under the impression that Gaff was working with Adonis and had betrayed Belle somehow.

Overview:Luomen returns to the rear palace. His observations trigger Maomao’s curiosity. Our Take:A lot is going on, and honestly, my mind is reeling so much that I’m having difficulty making sense of it all. Luomen, Maomao’s father, is coming back, it seems, and that was more or less handled in the first part of the episode. After that is when things started to get a little muddy for me because some characters are being thrown in that I have a hard time remembering without looking them up.

Overview:Kai returns to the valley where his journey started, where he learns more about the valley god. Our Take:Everyone in the village saw Kai getting close with Lady Jose and they all thought the same thing I did. Which is unfortunate for the village girl, Elsa because she seems to be crushing on Kai pretty hard. But unlike Jose, she at least is semi-aware of the fact that she’s into him even if she’s in denial a little bit but that seems to be more because the other ladies like to tease her.

Overview:Zenos resolving the feud between the demi-human gangs attracts attention from an unwanted source. Our Take:Krishna the “Iron Rose” is the woman who was sent to the slums to try and figure out who the “mediator” is. She’s also the one who shot Zenos point blank at the end of the last episode. Luckily, it was a knockout gas bullet but she was still surprised when it didn’t affect Zenos at all. She did say that her quick temper is “her only flaw”.

Overview:Hagi confides in Kohaku about his recent emotional turmoil. Later, Tokiwa goes sightseeing by himself and runs into Suo. Our Take:If you were expecting there to be some romantic progress with ANY of the characters in the final episode, I’m sorry to tell you there wasn’t. Suo and Tokiwa went to make a wish together, and I think we can infer that Suo’s wish has to do with being with Tokiwa. But that’s about the best we’re going to get with this, it seems.

Our Take(Spoilers):The first half of this episode was what we’ve come to expect so far. Grace isn’t exactly acting how her video game counterpart would, but that’s okay. Everyone has an egg that they’ve been holding on to since the beginning of the school year, and today is the day they hatch.

Overview:Okumura may not be interested in 3D girls, but he’s surprised when he discovers that he and Ririsa share similar passions. Our Take:I’m trying not to be too pessimistic with this show, but it was a rough episode. Then I looked at the episode count, and there are twenty-four! With how annoying the protagonist is already, I can only imagine that he will get worse, and his inability to have relationships with real girls will only become more eye-roll inducing.
