OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — The City of Owensboro has announced the return of the 2025 Live on the Banks concert series, which will bring music to the Ohio riverfront every Saturday night from May 17th to September 27th. “We are excited to be able to kick off another season of Live on the Banks,” said Tim Ross, Director of Public Events. The concerts will be held at the Overlook Stage in Smothers Park from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Straight No Chaser is set to bring their "Holiday Road Tour" to Evansville this December, promising a festive and entertaining evening. The RIAA-certified Gold a cappella group will perform at the Old National Events Plaza on December 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets, starting at $45.50, will go on sale on May 14, 2025. The tour coincides with the release of their new album, "Holiday Road," marking their first full-length holiday collection since 2020.

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — Warrick County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has announced a new initiative to bolster earthquake preparedness, partnering with the Central United States Earthquake Consortium (CUSEC), FEMA’s National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP), and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS). Starting in June, this two-week program will assess and mitigate risks in key facilities such as emergency services, schools, and hospitals.

(WEVV) — The Deaconess Classic for Women's Health is marking its 31st year of supporting women's health initiatives, specifically focusing on raising funds for mammogram and pelvic ultrasound screenings for women in need. Over the years, this event has successfully raised more than $4 million, which has been instrumental in providing over 22,000 screenings for women across the Tri-State area. The proceeds from the event also support the Deaconess Mobile Breast Center.
