The government is to invest and revitalise the defunct Branam State Farms in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region, Mr Malik Basintale, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has announced. During a visit to the farms, Mr Basintale said the government through the Agency was working out modalities to provide the required machinery and resources to commence full operations of the farms.

By Benjamin AkotoGoaso, (Ahafo), Feb. 6, GNA – The Ahafo Region experienced a surge in road crashes in 2024, recording 139 cases and 43 deaths, Miss Indira Apronti, the Ahafo Regional Head of the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has disclosed. Comparatively, she said the cases were an increase of 8.6 percent, with the region recording 128 crashes in 2023, killing 42 people, and leaving 185 others with various degrees of injuries.

The sector minister, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Banda constituency in the Bono Region said, “failing to fulfil or achieve my vision as a minister, will bring shame to his people”.
