We read with interest the trial by Lindgren et al. [], which showed that short-term intensive chemoresection using six mitomycin (MMC) instillations over a 2-wk period without any preceding biopsy for recurrent Ta low- or high-grade non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) resulted in significantly fewer patients in need of a procedure within 2 yr of diagnosis as compared with standard treatment.
