I picked up four books from the library last week, and this is the first time in a long while that I only finished two. The other two I started but couldn’t get into. As is my practice, my lips are sealed about the books I didn’t care for. Both were written by best-selling authors liked by plenty of readers, and I’m sure others will enjoy them. Of the two I finished quickly, the first, set in Australia, was my favorite, and I plan to pick up its prequel soon. It’s very cleverly written.

Here in Houston, winter seems to be over as we are experiencing temperatures in the 70s and 80s already.
