The York Theatre’s second entry of their New2NY staged reading series, Who Is Jimmy Pants? makes for a fun evening that will leave their audience smiling. This show is hard to place in any genre and like its title asks questions Is it a jukebox musical? Is it a modern nostalgia ride? Where does it go from here? An original score with witty lyrics and rhythmic music written by Joseph Church and Jeff Bienstock is sung in nice harmonies by a talented group of singers and actors.
