Estimated reading time: 2 minutesWhen a patient presents with a fractured leg, I use Vet-Lite as the splint in between the conforming bandage layer and the vet-wrap layer in a modified Robert-Jones bandage. Once stabilised, the patient can be transferred to emergency or orthopaedics. I use the same method to manage fractured toes and other minor fractures. Patients are weight bearing as soon as I have finished the bandage.
