Ann Parker (Image: Bev Creagh) Tributes have been pouring in for leading Lister Hospital gynaecologist and obstetrician Ann Parker who has died, aged 88. After she retired, the Offley-based medic became a benefactor of Benslow Music in Hitchin and took up bell ringing and church recording. Guildford-born Ann - who trained at the Royal Free in London - had always wanted to be a doctor.
