There were more tears than usual during the NBA Draft, but there is no crying in sports betting, right? VSiN.com senior editor Zach Cohen may have been a little sad about some of his bets, but he offers a dry-eyed view of what happened on Wednesday night: The first couple of picks went as planned. Cooper Flagg went to the Dallas Mavericks, Dylan Harper went to the San Antonio Spurs, VJ Edgecombe went to the Philadelphia 76ers and Kon Knueppel went to the Charlotte Hornets.

VSiN.com senior editor Zach Cohen sets up tonight’s NBA Draft (8 ET, ABC):While Cooper Flagg to the Mavericks at No. 1 and Dylan Harper to the Spurs at No. 2 feel like certainties, the rest of the draft is filled with uncertainty. That starts with Ace Bailey, who is viewed as the third-best prospect in the draft. Bailey’s camp is trying to get him to a preferred destination, so nobody knows where he’ll land in the Top 10. Between that and a bunch of trade rumors, we’re in for a wild night.

The wind was blowing straight out to center field on Sunday at Wrigley Field with winds at 14 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. Plus it was 90 degrees. Intuitively, we know that’s good for home runs at Wrigley. (Well, beyond intuitively, I have watched roughly 4,000 Cubs games.) But how good? Well, I checked VSiN.com’s new MLB handicapping tool, the Park Factors Report. The chart shows that home runs are 45 percent more likely to happen vs. the MLB average at any ballpark.

The Pacers’ playoff magic ran out seven minutes into Game 7 of the NBA Finals. That’s when Tyrese Haliburton’s strained right calf gave out, an injury to his Achilles. The Thunder won the NBA title with a 103-91 victory on Sunday night. Despite Haliburton’s injury, Indiana led at halftime 48-47, but a disastrous turnover-filled third quarter sealed the Pacers’ fate. OKC covered the closing -6.5/-7 and the Total went Under 215.5.The 2025-26 NBA season started even before the current one was over.

VSiN analyst Wes Reynolds, a proud Indianapolis native, has been supporting the Pacers since the start of the NBA Finals when they were one of the largest underdogs in league history. Heading into a Game 7 vs. the Thunder (8 ET, ABC), the line has moved from Pacers +8 to +7 at Circa with 84 percent of the handle on them. Wes believes the move toward the Pacers is justified, if a bit late:For the first time in the NBA Finals, the Pacers are getting market support.
