    First, I don’t drink beer. I’m not bragging, but I drank quite a bit when I was young, and when I concluded it was a great waste of money, I quit. But from my college days and through my years as a young adult, I became somewhat of a connoisseur of suds. Eventually settling on specialty brews to break the boredom of a lot of big-selling brands that had one flavor and that was cold. Miller High Life was a brand that was well-known when I was a kid.

    The answer is yes, but with some restrictions. You’ll need a permit. Only three states allow ownership without permission. Since kangaroos aren’t native to North America, I’ll surmise you need a permit in Idaho because we don’t want them taking over rangeland. Libertarians can make an argument that if they want to own the animals, they don’t need a note from the nanny state.

    For all this talk about the end of the world, some Idahoans are cheering on Trump’s tariffs. Specifically beef ranchers. In recent years, they’ve been hammered by foreign competition. Much of it was viewed as rigged against them. Toss in the opposition they get from the tree-hugging, lentil-lapping, Prius-driving liberals, and it’s a lethal combination for a rancher’s livelihood. I’ve seen several stories over the previous few days. You can see one of those in the video below.
