ARLINGTON, Texas (KTVT) - CeeDee Lamb has his running mate. A cryptic post on X late Tuesday night was the first hint that the Cowboys may have found their new “wide receiver 2″ to pair with Lamb. Cowboys fans woke up Wednesday morning to the breaking news from multiple outlets about a reported trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers for wide receiver George Pickens in exchange for a 2026 3rd-round draft pick and 2027 5th-rounder. Dallas will receive Pittsburgh’s 2027 6th-round selection.

Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft: How did it go for the Cowboys? Unless Jerry Jones does some wheeling and dealing, Saturday may start slowly for the Cowboys on Day 3 of the NFL Draft since they don't have a 4th round pick. But with Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders, of Dallas, surprisingly still available, what if Jones did have a 4th-round pick? It wouldn't be hard to acquire one. In the last two years, Jones traded his 4th round picks for QB Trey Lance and WR Jonathan Mingo.

Zack Martin paid a visit to The Star in Frisco on Thursday afternoon, just hours before the start of the NFL Draft. Retirement life is treating him well. Tyler Booker, the standout offensive guard from Alabama, has been drafted by the Dallas Cowboys. The #1 ranked offensive guard in the Big Green Scouting Notebook, Booker is a 21-year old 6-5, 321 pounder with 34 ½ inch arms was a Team Captain and started 25 games at left guard and one game at left tackle the last two years. He's a big, strong Alpha male leader and says the late Cowboys Hall of Famer Larry Allen is his idol. Booker loves to play football and is described as a mauler on the field.

The last time the Cowboys had the 12th pick in the NFL Draft, things turned out pretty well. In 2021, they actually started the night with the 10th pick. But they made a trade with their division rivals, the Eagles, and moved down to #12 and took Micah Parsons. Fast forward four years, and the Cowboys will start this draft night with the 12th pick. It's anybody's guess what they will do with it. Not even the guy who will be making the pick, Jerry Jones, knows what he will do with it.
