HANGZHOU, China — Kuka Home, a full-line upholstery manufacturer, today announced that Infore Group has purchased a controlling interest in its parent company Kuka Group Co. Ltd. in a deal valued at approximately $1.4 billion (10.3 billion RMB). The Gu family, Kuka Group’s largest shareholder, sold 29.42% of its shares to Infore Group and will retain ownership of 10.15% of their shares. The remaining 60% will be held by a diverse group of investors.
