    Martinsville Councilman Aaron Rawls has filed a civil rights lawsuit in federal court against Martinsville City Manager Aretha Ferrell-Benavides and Martinsville Sheriff's Deputy Reva Keen.     A North Carolina woman was arrested on multiple drug charges after a traffic stop on in Collinsville on Saturday. A Henry County deputy conducted a traffic stop at 4090 Virginia Ave. Sunday morning after observing fictitious tags on the vehicle. Four people were in the vehicle at the time of the stop, and the deputy noticed inconsistencies in their statements. Based on the deputy's observations, he requested assistance from the Martinsville Police Department's K-9, a release stated.

These messages state that you have an outstanding traffic ticket and threaten serious consequences if you do not pay immediately through a suspicious link. "This is not a legitimate message from the DMV," the Sheriff's Office stated.
